Quality Improvement Consulting Specialists, Inc. was founded
by Karen Astringer-Peters with the intent of assisting organizations in achieving their potential through sharing years of clinical and quality improvement experience. This experience and technical knowledge of Medicaid and Accreditation requirements comes from leadership positions in community mental health settings, not-for-profit settings, private practice, and working closely with AHCA while serving as an Auditor for First Health Services, currently known as Magellan Medicaod Administration.
Through this valuable experience, it became clear that most
organizations could benefit from quality improvement and
regulatory compliance assistance in the form of training,
consultation, and documentation review. Karen is a Licensed
Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a
Certified Quality Auditor. Our team inlcudes highly skilled staff that are ready to help your organization achive your own vision of quality.
